- Day Habilitation Services
Day Habilitation Services provide activities that focus on assistance with self-help, socialization and adaptive skills that enhance social inclusion and outcomes. Our program currently operates at our administrative building from 9:00am-2:00pm on Monday, Tues, Thurs and Fridays.
- Residential Habilitation Services
Residential Habilitation Services help individuals reside in their community and supports each resident’s independence and full inclusion into the community. The program ensures each resident’s choice, rights, and identified needs. The residential program requires 24hr direct support and full time nursing to monitor health and safety. The Arc of St. Clair currently operates six residential locations in St. Clair County area.
- Community Experiences
Community Experience Services are non-work related activities that are customized to the individual’s desires to access and experience community participation. The intent of this service is to engage in activities that will allow the person to either acquire new adaptive skills or support the person in utilizing adaptive skills in order to become actively involved in their community.
- Personal Care Services
The Arc of St. Clair Personal Care program provides one-on-one assistance for individuals with significant developmental disabilities in their home or community. These individuals are capable of maintaining some areas of independent living but may require monitorship and enhancement of self-help and daily living skills.
- Positive Behavior Support Services
Positive Behavior Support Services are person-centered, valued outcomes and systems designed to increase quality of life and decrease problem behaviors by teaching new skills and making changes in a person’s environment. Services enhance positive social interactions across work, academic, recreational, and community settings while reducing actions that are not safe or that lead to social isolation, loneliness or fearfulness.
